On April 21, a delegation led by Chen Yongjing, Deputy Director of the Yancheng Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Jianhu County Government, Head of the Science and Technology Talent Team, and Deputy County Head, visited Yancheng Lianggong Formwork Co., Ltd. for inspection and research. The group toured the company’s production workshop, R&D laboratory, and the construction site of its new plant, gaining an on-the-ground understanding of the company’s operations, plant expansion, and industrial planning. The visit aimed to provide strategic guidance and boost corporate confidence. Zheng Yaohong, the company’s legal representative, and other relevant managers accompanied the inspection.
Founded in August 2010 and located at No. 8 Shanghai Road, Jianhu Economic Development Zone, Yancheng Lianggong Formwork Co., Ltd. is a local technology-driven enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, sales, and leasing of construction formwork and scaffolding. Lianggong Formwork has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative”(SRDI) SME, holding 5 registered trademarks and 47 patents, demonstrating strong innovation capabilities and development resilience.
As a backbone enterprise in Jianhu County‘s metal product manufacturing sector, the company has long focused on both domestic and international construction formwork markets. It maintains a strong presence in China while actively expanding overseas, with branches established in Dubai and Indonesia. Its products are exported to dozens of countries across five continents. The company has participated in landmark international projects such as the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway in Indonesia and the Moscow-Kazan High-Speed Railway in Russia, building a solid brand reputation through high-quality products and comprehensive services.
Currently, the company is steadily advancing its plant expansion project, continuously scaling up production capacity. This effort reinforces its core business, enhances market competitiveness, and lays a solid foundation for future transformation and upgrading.
During the inspection, Deputy County Head Chen Yongjing toured the production line, finished products, and R&D facilities, inquiring in detail about processes, quality control, R&D, and market presence. He highly recognized the company’s production management, technical expertise, and deep industry engagement. As a high-tech enterprise with multiple independent intellectual property rights, Lianggong Formwork‘s approach to product quality control and technological innovation aligns well with the industry‘s ongoing transition toward refinement and green development.
The delegation then visited the construction site of the company‘s new plant, inspecting the layout and progress of the expansion, and listening attentively to the head of the company‘s presentation on future development strategies.
The head emphasized the company‘s development plan: while continuing to strengthen its core business of construction formwork, the company will actively seize opportunities in intelligent manufacturing. Plans include expanding into robot-related businesses such as robotic welding, driving the company‘s transformation and upgrading from traditional construction material manufacturing to high-end intelligent manufacturing, thereby achieving diversified growth and improved efficiency. This strategy is highly aligned with Jianhu County‘s focus on high-end equipment, robotics, and other advanced manufacturing sectors.
Drawing on his own work experience and Jianhu County‘s industrial development direction, Deputy County Head Chen Yongjing provided on-the-spot guidance regarding the company‘s development plan. As the leader of the 18th Science and Technology Talent Team, Chen Yongjing comes from the Institute of Translational Medicine at Soochow University. He has long focused on industry-university-research integration and talent cultivation, having led and participated in multiple national-level research projects. With extensive experience in technological innovation and commercialization, he assists Jianhu County in promoting technological innovation in the robotics industry and offers precise guidance for enterprise development.
He noted that the company‘s layout in robotic welding aligns well with Jianhu‘s intelligent manufacturing direction. He encouraged the company to seize policy opportunities, deepen industry-university-research collaboration by leveraging university resources, introduce talent, and overcome technical challenges to build a solid foundation for its robotics business. At the same time, he advised the company to maintain product quality in its core business, steadily advance expansion, and penetrate new markets, enabling coordinated growth between traditional and emerging businesses, thereby supporting the county‘s equipment manufacturing sector in achieving quality upgrading.
This inspection helped clarify the company‘s development path, address challenges related to transformation, and instill strong confidence in the company. It highlighted the county party committee and government‘s support for local enterprises and their targeted assistance, exemplifying the effectiveness of the “Jiankuaihao” (Fast and Efficient Service for Enterprises) brand.
Moving forward, Lianggong Formwork will take this inspection as an opportunity to deepen its core formwork business, accelerate the commissioning of its new plant, and connect with university resources to advance its robotic welding business, driving high-quality development through technological innovation and contributing to the county‘s economic upgrading.
